I love photographing love, which is why engagements are weddings are so much fun. Even better though is love that is tried and true over the years. Pastor Larry and Ms. Mel are such awesome examples of strong, long lasting love.

Hayden + Kayla Anniversary Shoot in Baton Rouge

Hayden + Kayla Anniversary Shoot in Baton Rouge

These guys were too much fun during their anniversary photoshoot! First of all, I love it when people decide they want pictures celebrating love, even if they're not "official" engagement pictures. I had a friend who started doing "Just because I love you" shoots for people who had been married a while but had never gotten the cool engagement pictures, and I LOVE that idea. (hint hint if you never got your dream engagement picts)

7 Kids and 25 years later these two couldn't be cuter or more in love. They are adventurers to the core, and have traveled to like, 70 countries for various missions programs and trips. Basically imagine Indiana Jones became a Christian, and had 7 kids.

Liz and Matt were such a great couple to work with. As is normal, they went into the shoot like a lot of my couples admitting they were "not good at taking pictures" and just hoped "I could get a few good ones"

Ummmm, As you can tell from these pictures, they were clearly wrong! Seriously ALL their pictures turned out great!

Carla + Oliver | Family and Maternity

It was a beautiful day for some garden style maternity and family shoot with Carla and Oliver. We just recently moved to Louisiana from Baton Rouge, and Carla recently relocated here with her family from Peru. Love the way these dreamy pictures turned out!

I had so much fun shooting this lovely preggo and her toddler Fiona! Judah and Fiona are only a day apart in age also, so thats fun. Not only is Melissa a great friend and awesome pastor, she is also a phenomenal harpist.... as in she's-literally-played-for-royalty-in-England good.

She was also so patient while I practiced indoor and low light shooting - something I am still very new at, but so far love!

The not-so-typical international love story. Both were in South Korea teaching english, and they met because of mutual church involvement. It was so fun going downtown Daegu and shooting some pictures of these lovlies. We had a lot of curious Korean onlookers, but that only added to the charm.

Sweet Zurey was only a few days old when her mom asked me to take some garden pictures of the two of them. I'm in love with that evening golden glow... and that sweet baby of course!

Josh + Anna || Mt. Hood Dreamy Engagement

This shoot was from quite a few years ago, and was my first engagement shoot ever! I was so nervous but the subject were thankfully my brother and his finace, and they were so much fun! This shoot was in the PNW, right outside of Mosier in the Columbia Gorge. SIDE NOTE: If you ever have the opportunity to go to Oregon, you realllly should. it is stunning.

Josh + Anna || Columbia River Gorge Bridal Shoot

They MAY have gotten married a few weeks prior in Tulsa Oklahoma, but we all decided it was well worth it to put the bridal regalia back on and snap some "wedding" pictures in the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. you MUCH visit the Gorge. I am convinced it is the most beautiful place in the entire world.
