I love photographing love, which is why engagements are weddings are so much fun. Even better though is love that is tried and true over the years. Pastor Larry and Ms. Mel are such awesome examples of strong, long lasting love.

You know, the beautiful couple with the cool house and the adorable kid and always are so well groomed, put together and fashionably dressed, and still so nice and friendly you can't help but love them through their perfections ;-) (But really, I don't know how they do it, but they do. I need to up my yoga-pants-every-day game a wee bit!)

It is such a beautiful things when a new baby enters the world. I can't wrap my mind around just how marvelous of a miracle life is. How do those little babies fit into us? How do they come out knowing how to sleep and eat and breath. I'm always blown away at how perfect these little humans are, straight from the get-go. Being pretty pregnant myself at the moment, I'm just amazed that one of these little guys (in my case a girl) is inside of me RIGHT NOW.

I Met Carla and Oliver back when she was pregnant with her little boy and we took some family and maternity pictures (You can see those here). I love that I have been able to document their family as it can grown. Also Newborns are so magical. I can't believe how perfect they are right from the get-go. God is the best.
